OSCAR’S COMEBACK

Three local residents breathe new life into the small all-white town of Gregory, South Dakota by starting a film festival celebrating their native son, early 20th century filmmaker Oscar Micheaux, the long-forgotten Godfather of Independent Black Cinema.

A decade-in-the-making, comedic documentary about race, class, and the fate of a small American town.
